Felix M. Aviles Rios

Felix formed Avoler Group in early-2015 after spending the previous 28 years in the Marine and Staffing industries. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and a third-generation Longshoreman, Felix worked as a Longshoreman from 1986 to 2004. He also served on the Union Board of Directors from 1990 to 2004 for the International Longshoremen’s Association, Local 1740, in San Juan.

Felix made the move to the Hampton Roads, VA area in 2004. A tireless professional, in his previous endeavor he was a critical element in the success and growth of a Norfolk-based staffing company. During the nearly ten years of his time with the company, Felix aided in the development from a small startup to a company which consistently delivered over $20 Million in annual revenue. Built on a foundation of trust and integrity, he has developed many longstanding relationships with both customers and employees and looks forward to continuing to serve both with Avoler Group.
He is a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where he majored in Business Administration. An avid fisherman, Felix enjoys spending his free time fishing on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and East Coast. He currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife, Marie.

Jason L. Holloway

In early 2015, Jason cofounded Avoler Group after spending the previous four years in the staffing and ship repair industries. A Veteran and former Naval Officer, Jason spent nearly six and a half years on active duty deploying twice to the Arabian Gulf. Following his time on active duty, Jason joined East Coast Repair and Fabrication, a ship repair company headquartered in Norfolk, VA, in July of 2011. At ECR, Jason was responsible for the largest division within the company and represented the executive leadership team during two of the company’s largest prime Government contracts spanning nearly twenty months in duration.

Jason then joined Horizon Services, a staffing company and subsidiary of ECR, as the Chief Operating Officer in January of 2014. Working closely with the other members of the management team, Jason helped the company grow over 20% in 2014 and led the successful expansion of the company to the Jacksonville, FL market capturing nearly $1 million in additional revenue in the first six months of operations.

Jason was born in Annapolis, MD, but has spent most of his life in the Hampton Roads, VA area. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business in 2011. Jason currently resides in Larchmont – Norfolk, VA with his wife Ashley, daughter Berkley, and son Jackson.

Ana I Torres-Velez

Ana was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, where she specialized in managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. As a certified agent in personal, commercial, and life insurance, Ana developed a strong foundation in business operations and client engagement.

In 2009, Ana pursued her entrepreneurial passion by launching a women’s apparel business, which she successfully owned and operated for five years. Her experience as a business owner further strengthened her leadership, strategic planning, and customer service skills.

In 2014, Ana relocated to Virginia to support her husband, who is employed in the ship repair industry. She became a valuable member of the Avoler team in the spring of 2015. By 2024, Ana achieved her entrepreneurial aspirations again by becoming part-owner of Avoler Group. She continues to leverage her expertise in client relations and business development to drive the company’s success.

Outside of work, Ana is a devoted mother of three. She enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and spending quality time with her family.

Natanael Morales-Torres

Natanael was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He studied at Antilles Military Academy and was a member of the JROTC program, American Red Cross, and the National Honor Society. While a member of the JROTC, he achieved the rank of Cadet Sergeant Major by his second year and graduated with honors as a Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. He received multiple recognitions, such as the superior cadet award, leadership excellence, the Purple Heart, the Reserve Officers ’ Association Medal awarded by the National Guard, and many others. After graduating high school, Natanael was accepted to the University of Puerto Rico, majoring in Management. While enrolled in college, he also worked as a sales associate at Armani Exchange, where he developed and honed his skills in customer service.

In 2014, he decided to move to Virginia with his family and continued his education at Tidewater Community College, majoring in Business Administration. Shortly after arriving in Virginia, Natanael began working at Food Lion and was quickly promoted to supervisor after displaying outstanding job performance.

Natanael joined the Avoler group in the Summer of 2017. He quickly connected with the employees and the company’s values. He is an OSHA Outreach Trainer and enjoys sharing all his safety knowledge with the employees. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, going to the beach, going to parks, hitting the gym, playing golf, going to the shooting range, and, above all, spending time with family and friends.

Erwin Malave Jr.

Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Erwin spent much of his childhood growing up in the city. Eventually, his family relocated to Newburgh, upstate New York. Upon completion of High School, Erwin entered the work force and began a journey of employment that gave him a wide array of skills and experiences. His initial experience with sales led him to form a strong affinity for working with others to help solve problems and ultimately to provide solutions. From selling automobiles to selling car parts, his passion for the automotive industry thrived. Seeking further advancement in his career and desiring a better future for his family, Erwin made the decision to relocate from New York to Virginia. This transition became a life-changing event as it allowed him to progress in his professional life while simultaneously providing a nurturing environment for his loved ones.

In the late Summer of 2022, Erwin found his way to Avoler Group, where he brought his extensive sales experience and commitment to exceptional customer service. Erwin immediately connected with the staff and employees and quickly became an integral part of the success of the company. Outside of work, Erwin enjoys spending quality time with his family, continuing with his passion in the automotive field, and embracing the great outdoors.

Essence Padilla

Born in Bronx, New York and moved to Virginia Beach at the age of 4 years old.

Graduated from Churchland High School in 2015. Was a part of the magnet dance program, dance team captain, and was a member of the school’s competition team. After high school she entered the work field where she obtained great customer service skills along with skills in numerous fields. She joined Avoler Group as an Administrative Assistant and provided support to both the operations department and payroll department. She is currently working as a Human Resources Specialist. Gaining extensive knowledge in both departments. Her goals with the company are to continue learning, growing, and being of help to others and the team.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, shopping, or spending time at a local coffee shop.

Mackenzie Turner

With over 4 years of experience in payroll and administrative support, Mackenzie is a dedicated professional known for precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to process optimization. Adept at overseeing payroll processing, benefits administration, and tax compliance, Mackenzie ensures employees are compensated accurately and on time while upholding a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of payroll. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, Mackenzie helps drive productivity and smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a positive and well-structured work environment.

With a strong focus on continuous improvement and growth, Mackenzie is committed to staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging tools to support the evolving needs of Avoler Group.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, going to the beach, boating, and spoiling her bunny, Buxton, which helps her maintain a balanced and creative outlook on both her professional and personal life.

Yolian Torres

Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Yolian completed her high school education in the town of Santa Isabel. In 2017, upon graduating, she was accepted into the criminology program at the Interamerican University, Ponce campus. While working as an administrative assistant for an emerging company, she gained experience in the field of administration. After graduating in 2022, she decided to move to the state of Virginia with her husband in search of opportunities for herself and her family. That same year, she worked in the administration of a family-owned company in the shipyard industry.

By the spring of 2023, Yolian joined the team at Avoler Group, where she has gained experience under the guidance of the company’s leaders.

She currently lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and is pursuing her first year of law school at Regent University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, attending plays, and visiting museums.
